Espresso Veloce
A recipe like a super sports car: Espresso Veloce combines the power of a double ristretto with fine rum and a subtle citrus note. The ultimate kick for connoisseurs with a taste for speed.
If any drink screams high speed, it's this one: Espresso Veloce is the liquid version of a Lamborghini take-off: explosive, jet black, aromatic - with a touch of elegance and a powerful finish.
Ideal for evenings out in style, small shows with friends - or when your coffee simply needs horsepower.
Ingredients (for 1 drink):
1 double ristretto or very strong espresso (e.g. Lamborghini Platinum)
2 cl dark rum (e.g. Zacapa or Don Papa)
1 cl coffee liqueur (e.g. Kahlúa or homemade)
Freshly grated lemon zest / lemon peel

Ice cubes
Optional: a spoonful of cold milk foam or lightly whipped cream
Preparation
Brew the espresso fresh and leave to cool briefly.
Shake the rum, coffee liqueur and ice vigorously in a shaker.
Strain into a tumbler glass or cocktail glass.
Slowly pour in the espresso so that it floats to the top.
Garnish with citrus zest and optionally a small milk froth.
