Caramel Vanille Cold Brew
Homemade caramel vanilla iced coffee is absolutely delicious with a strong brewed coffee, some caramel sauce for just the right amount of flavor and vanilla syrup. If you want to watch the calories, you can opt for sugar-free vanilla syrup. This reduces the sugar content.
Ingredients
1 liter cold water
100 g coarsely ground coffee
1 vanilla pod, split open
2 tablespoons caramel syrup
Preparation
Prepare the cold brew: Mix coarsely ground coffee with cold water and a split vanilla pod.
Infuse: Leave the mixture to infuse in the fridge for 12-24 hours.
Filter and refine: Strain the cold brew through a fine sieve or coffee filter. Add caramel syrup to taste and stir well.
Enjoy: Serve the cold brew with ice cubes and perhaps a dash of cream for extra enjoyment.
